  • love how factory workers are left out of essential workers all the time, not like they make the stuff all those listed here use on a daily bases, just kinda tired of us getting the short stick, we get paid less for doing more work, we get shit on for not being "educated" and were dismissed as "essential workers" by a vast majority who view factory work as not necessary, when infact, its the most necessary job in america, because without it, your doctors dont have equipment, your food staff doesnt have proper cookware, and grocery stores wouldnt be able to keep your food cool without us making those fridges and cooled trucks, but we get looked at in such a, demeaning way, like were the ones who have failed at life so were stuck where we are, even tho without us, no one can do anything in this modern world, factories literally run everything, from power plants, to tissue paper, to gasoline, to cars, to cell phones, everything starts, or ends, at a factory. you see what happened when car factories went down, imagine if something really essential went down, plenty of cars, medical equipment on the other hand, or food, or pharma.... imagine if all factories were told to shut down....

  • Road rage became more prominent in my area about 15 years ago. Driving used to be a "whatever" or maybe even fun at times but suddenly cocky, pissed off, reckless, slow-asses, and confused folk began to become more plentiful on the same road simultaneously. Tack on the pretentiousness people get with SUVs and more powerful engines and that's a recipe for disaster. For the past decade I've only clocked 800 miles a year, and mostly at night for work. During the day, it's doors locked and 9mm on my side.

  • The roads in Dallas, TX during the week between Christmas and New Years can be compared to Covid roads. My truck was totaled as I was driving home from work right after Christmas thanks to a girl on her phone. The on-ramp that I drove on each day normally had a line of cars that slowed to a crawl. During the holidays, everyone was at home so there was no slowing down, right up to the point of merging on. That’s when I had to stand on my brakes but the girl behind me didn’t. My little truck ended up with a bent frame and crushed bed and tailgate. She got towed and I was able to wobble home. Insurance gave me a crappy payout and I learned to give yourself more distance in traffic, not for your stopping distance, but for the phone distracted driver behind you.

Hence, to keep the $$$$ coming in let's make everyone who obeyed the former speed limits an offender. Soviet tactics 101.

People going 65 on the fast lane on a 75mph highway and wouldn't move for no one. People not putting the blinkers but the worst of the worst... • Where is this happening? What do they all have in common? Blue cities/counties. Nuff said. Red areas saw the initial drop, but by May they were close to normal again and are not having these problems.... The biggest problems is people driving from blue areas infecting the people in the red areas, then pointing at the red area saying "see how bad the virus is there?"

Please be peaceful to the communities you visit 2. Leave no trace 3. Exceptions include, laying rubber on black top in the switchbacks 4. No your limitations so you don’t drive off a cliff

  • Yeah. Lot's of people that appear to truly not have much of a grasp of Physics are loose on the road in fast (but not necessarily capable) automobiles... Around here, crashes on the freeways have increased radically, and it appears that most of them are caused by excessive speed. I mean, it takes quite a lot of kinetic energy to get an SUV or other car to stand upside-down on it's roof, on a totally smooth layer of asphalt! 🤣
